NGO Partners
Amaidi operates by seeking out local NGO's that want to recieve foreign volunteers to aid them in their work. In the menu-box at the right side of this page our current partners are listed, but we are always in the process of establishing new links.
During a period of assessment, the Amaidi team decides if the NGO has the capacity to properly recieve and guide a volunteer. In this way we can ensure every volunteer will have a fullfilling and positive experience while participating in his/her project.
Win-win situation

For a local NGO, receiving volunteers, is first and foremost a wonderful sharing opportunity, next to being helped by a temporary set of helping hands and brains. Sharing of its vision and mission, of its down-to-earth philosophy and of its dedication to help 'clearing poverty from the face of the earth'. But it is also considered a chance to make itself known to the world at large. Volunteers returning back to their home-country, tell their success-stories to the wider public. And believe me, the NGO's management is aware of this. All this makes that your host-organization will do its UTMOST to comfort you during your work and will be permanently seeking your feed back as to how it has succeeded in doing this. Inform them, now and then. About the things that go well, but also when processes are hampered, appointments are regularly not met or when you simply feel misunderstood. We all embark on a terrific learning journey,..
