AMAIDI raises funds on behalf of its NGO partners, those who are without contacts with funding agencies or those who are in the need of amounts that their own donors are unable to provide. AMAIDI is currently setting up a network of both Indian and foreign funding agencies, building relationships with them by visiting their representatives or inviting them to come over and to see for themselves the work we are doing for sustainable development of local communities in India and organizations that support them and who are in the need of 'extra help' to get development projects done in the villages and urban areas where their beneficiaries are living.
AMAIDI works with a small team of fund raising professionals in India and abroad to be able to serve both the NGOs in their search for funds as well as the global funding community of organizations having or collecting funds to be spend on rural and urban development projects in countries such as India.
NGO-partners of AMAIDI who would like to apply for funds from one of the funding agencies through AMAIDI may contact Mr. Camille (CEO) through info@amaidi.org for guidelines. Funding agencies who would like to explore the possibility of linking up with NGOs implementing development projects in India through AMAIDI may contact Mr. Rajesh Ghose via rajesh@amaidi.org for more information.
By starting AMAIDI Fundraising AMAIDI takes its assistance of those in the needs of funds one step further than what it has been doing so far for a number of international volunteers expressing the wish to support their host organization by channeling donations in support of their projects.
All the funds meant for an NGO partner are routed through AMAIDI, who takes care of forwarding the money to the concerned organization, monitoring the implementation and reporting about the progress. AMAIDI will also take care of the final project – and financial report. For its service AMAIDI charges 5% of the total allocated amount, after receiving the funds. Next to an acceptance fee, AMAIDI charges each applicant (NGO) reimbursement of its expenses.
