| How to choose a project |

|
You will find a large number of project placements, referred to in a
single sentence, followed by a code number. There is much more to tell
about our projects than can possibly be done in a single line. The single line is meant as an indication, a general reference.

|
| After making a final choice for one or two projects and filling up the
application form, we will await your advance payment (see 'Terms and
Conditions'). On receiving the payment, we will start fine-tuning the
match and keep close contact with you along the way through email. On
arrival you will pay the rest amount of the mediation fee to AMAIDI,
cash, in Rupees. If your project is too far from AMAIDI to come to
South-India, the rest amount has to be transferred to our Indian
bankaccount just before you leave your home-country.

| Here's a word of caution: don't expect the project to be exactly as
described. As people and their organizations that design and implement
projects, change over time, so do their projects. 'Ground reality' - once
you arrive at your project site - might have changed - sometimes quite a
bit - in the time it took to come to India. Eventhough great care is given
- especially in the case of interns coming on a fixed assignment -
flexibility is the 'magic word'.....
